Getting Awfully Close

This week was a good week!

The doctor's appointment on Monday showed great blood pressure, 1 cm. dialation, and 25% effacement.  The nurse could feel Jordan's head.  Mom and I stopped by the hospital to take a little tour and assess the labor and delivery accomodations.  Just lovely!

My week at home was highly productive.....
-I washed, ironed, and hung all the precious new little baby clothes from our shower in KY.
-I finished cleaning out Jordan's closet so that our tower of diapers and wipes is now contained inside.  SO THANKFUL for all of those!
-We put final touches on the nursery: bought and assembled a floor lamp and toy basket, put up the mobile on the crib, hung a few final things on the wall, and added a few other decorative touches.  The nursery is all set for our little man!
-Our pastor and his wife kindly passed-along their co-sleeper (like a bassinet), which is now assembled and waiting by our bed for Jordan.  They also gave us a swing, which is assembled and waiting (along with several other baby items) at my mom and dad's house.  They plan to keep Jordan every now and then to give us a break.
-I put the final touches on our all-natural birth plan.
-I packed mine, Nick's, and Jordan's bags for the hospital.
-Nick put the car seat in the car and rearranged the garage a good bit to make plenty of room for hauling the seat in and out of the car.

My feet and calves are staying pretty tight, swollen, and uncomfortable, but other than that I feel pretty good!  We're ready to meet our son!!!  Only 3 weeks to go.....
